Today is the second year of my wordpress acount! Sinai’s blog’s one year mark was also a week ago! (The first post was on 03 April 2013)
Note: Sorry about not posting. Last week was production week for the play I was in, so I didn’t have time to update the website. : ( I will try to be more consistent now.
Recently, Olivia discovered something extraordinarily amazing and life changing: she is not the only cat in the world!
Up until that moment, Olivia had thought herself the last of her species. But that is apparently not so, as two very large grey tabby kittens walked into her life only yesterday.
At first, Olivia was confused. How can it be that I am not the only pointy-eared, pointy-toothed, furry-tailed, purring being in this world? she asked herself. Also, why are my look-a-likes printed in black and white and not in full colour?
But then the very large grey tabby kittens introduced themselves, and Olivia understood: she was not the only cat, she had just been stolen away from the other cats when she was a young kitten! Either that, or she had simply forgotten all the other cats she had once known. Probably the latter.
And now let us meet Olivia’s newest cat acquaintances…
Hodge is half of the pair of very large grey tabby kittens that Olivia met yesterday. He likes to purr loudly twenty-three hours of the day and sits on his tail the other hour. During his free-time, he sings soprano for his local community cat singers group. His favorite toy is anything that dangles from the air, including his brother’s tail.
Podge is the other half of the pair of very large grey tabby kittens. He likes sitting underneath beds and ambush unsuspecting passerby and using pieces of kitty litter as toys. Sometimes he even checks himself out in the mirror, that is how attractive he thinks he is!
I am no longer able to write six posts a week, so I will be, from now on, writing four a week and maybe even less depending on how busy I am.
Sinai having a BLAST on vacation while you are having a horribly boring time at home. This image was not edited at all.
I’m going to be gone for approximately the next fortnight, so there will be no posts for about that amount of time. (Maybe a little less, maybe a little more.) I do have a couple already scheduled, but that’s it.
Who knew?! Sinai the Great, Divine Ruler of Everything (AKA YOUR FAVORITE RAT EVER) has a new best friend!
Sinai has always been a good friend. She was best friends with King Negev, Boss of You, Ruler of the World, and Master of the Universe, for a very long time. However, she just recently (as in sixty minutes ago) discovered who she calls “the rat I never noticed until now.” Now that she has found this rat, she is super ecstatic. She can’t wait to hang out with her new bestie and do all the things that bff’s do that she wasn’t able to do with Negev (because he is dead). She is also very surprised at herself for not noticing the wonderful rodent until just an hour ago.
So who is this new best friend of Sinai’s? Is it some fan or hers, or a friend who she just never hung out with? She’s neither. Hold onto your socks (if you have any on), because you’ll never believe who Sinai’s new best friend is. Below is a picture of she who is now Sinai’s best friend.
Yes, that is right. SOIGNÉ is Sinai’s new best friend. Who would have thought?! As I cannot personally explain Sinai’s change of mind (I still can’t believe it), I will leave it to Sinai’s diary to explain it. (Click to view full size.)
This is a very special post. And not just because the title is only one seemingly random character long. (Believe me, that ‘C’ is not random at all.) But what’s the big deal about having a single character as a title? Musicians do this all the time with their albums. (+, 4, etc.) It is, in fact, special for an entirely other reason. Although, it could be argued that having the shortest post title on this website so far does make it rather significant.
Pray do tell, how is this post special or out of the ordinary? I am very interested in learning the answer to this perplexing question.
However, having the third letter of the alphabet as a title is not very… out of the ordinary. It’s something that could happen again. It could even become normal to have all posts on this website be called ‘C’, or perhaps to spice it up sometimes, ‘The Letter Before D and After B.’ However, the thing that makes this post so special is something that will never happen again ever on sinaithegreat.wordpress.com. NEVER. I’m not lying. You can only have a one hundredth post once.
Pictured above: The number which this post is. If you cannot read Arabic numerals, it is one hundred.
Yes, that’s right, this is the one hundredth post! One hundred is a big number because that is 1/200 of Sinai’s weight (10 tons, in case you don’t feel like doing math). Actually, that is a very small number. Never mind.
Despite being a rather small number, one hundred is still significant, if only for the fact that it is a perfect square. Also, that upside down, it is the number 1, which looks like a capital ‘I’, which appears twice in Sinai’s name (when it is capitalized). It is the first number with three digits, too. And, again, it is 1/200 of Sinai’s weight, which is cool, because anything associated with Sinai is automatically cool (except for Soigné). She’s like a coolness magnet. In fact, she might have swallowed one of those when she was just a little baby who could fit in the palm of your hand. Sinai has always had a vague memory of swallowing something metal when she was a tiny ratling.
I love Sinai. She makes everything (except for her sister) automatically hot and trending. Like look at this picture. If this was any other rat, you would probably be grossed out at the sleepy looking rodent and the bad case of bedhead. However, as this is Sinai, it looks great. (I can’t say so for the rat in the front, though.)
As this is the one hundredth post, it feels like something special should be done? But what? I’ve already shown you an exclusive picture of Sinai sleeping. I’ve already mentioned Sinai’s name, which has a very soothing sound to it, multiple times. I’ve already had the common courtesy to even post a post today. Sinai hasn’t given me permission to post another picture of her, so I guess what I will have to do is post a FUN and EXCLUSIVE poll! How delightful, and positively exciting! You can find the poll below. Have fun, and enjoy your gift from me (and also partially Sinai)!
Sorry for the irregular posting these last two weeks. I just finished my last final, so we should be good from now on. (Note: I am now posting one post daily instead of two each day on the weekends.) Also, there are a couple new pages up that are written by Sinai’s best friend, King Negev. [link] To make it up for everyone for being off-schedule, here are 5 gifs of Sinai and her sister. (They don’t work when I post the actual picture, so you have to click the links.)
For the next fortnight, posts may not be on the regular schedule due to the fact that I have finals coming up in a week.
Sorry for the inconvenience
